Well, the kitchen is almost done! Last Sunday, we had the ceiling light fixtures and under counter lights installed. We have the folks from Rehabitation, Inc. finishing up the little stuff: baseboards, cabinet hardware, shelf for wall oven installation, etc. The wall oven/microwave are going to be installed on Monday. Now all I have to do is paint the baseboards and some places that the drywall was fixed. Yay! Now maybe we can plan that house-warming party.
Otherwise, I've been tracking home decor design and color trends, working in my art studio, and finishing up the latest issue of the ColorTalk newsletter! That ought to be done within the next week. I need to cajole the webmaster again to get the newsletter (old newsletters are here) up... he just helped me update my art website yesterday, which has some brand new stuff on it and a new "Series" page for the new paintings I'm doing. I'm really working hard on the new portfolio and am averaging about 4.2 paintings per month, regardless of size! That's pretty cool.
