Ok....just as promised: a selection of bracelets from my collection. The huge one on top in my hand is one I bought last year. I called it my "flying saucer" bracelet. I do not know what Alexis calls it. It's 5.75" in diameter and from his Lucite Collection. I usually only wear it with a very simple black dress and only to places like a gallery opening or gala event. It has such a presence all it's own it doesn't need anything to distract from it's sculptural qualities. I wear with with white Bittar earrings.
The other pic shows my six white bracelets from his Lucite Collection. These are all hand-carved. I probably wear the white ones more than any other color. Sometimes I will wear a few at a time. The one on the far right with the points all over it gets me in trouble at airports because it just looks a bit odd. It doesn't set off the metal detector, but I do get stopped by security.
More Bittar soon! Stay tuned.
Ciao!
