I Love Alexis Bittar.
I have been collecting his classic Lucite jewelry since about 1997. The above stack of Lucite bracelets is from Giving Tree Jewelry. I own about 38 of his Lucite bracelets, about 16 pairs of Lucite earrings, 3 rings, 2 necklaces, and 3 pins. All colors, sizes, and patterns. I'll have to start posting pictures of some of my favorites for you on this blog. Many of the pieces I have he doesn't sell anymore.

I started collecting his work in California after I met him and saw his amazing pieces at the San Francisco Gift Show. The company I used to work for has a retail store and they carried (And still do!) his jewelry as well. I would wear it so often I was a walking advertisement for him! Alex is a real "gem" of a guy in the design world: really, really genuine and NICE. And talented beyond anything!

I still buy a piece about once a year now, much less often since I don't live in an area where it's easy to find. So when I go back to California for visits, I always buy a new Alexis piece at the retail store in Santa Cruz.
