This week it’s all about “cutesy stuff” that many folks have in their homes. These are my Top 8 least favorite cutesy (mostly) decorating items:

1. Loads of decorative pillows on the beds (three is plenty!)
2. Tiny guest towels/ decorative guest towels
3. Tiny guest soaps
4. Priscilla curtains (unless your 3-year old daughter requests them for her bedroom)
5. Fuzzy Toilet seat covers (Why?)
6. Loads of kitschy figurines like the Precious Moments series
7. DYI sponge-painted walls (99.99% look like s***)
8. Busy wall coverings
