Ok, folks, it’s happened again, misguided feng shui information in my own neighborhood! As I was leaving the natural foods grocery store close to my home (Which will remain nameless), I was perusing their bulletin board postings. One leaflet was an appeal to anyone who might want to teach a workshop and had some suggested topics. The list was full of what some New Age-type folks might be into, such as Macrobiotic cooking, growing herbs, making your own soap, and clutter and feng shui!
I could not believe it! So say it with me folks: “Clutter and Feng Shui are mutually exclusive!” There, didn’t that feel better? :) For those of you who are confused and didn’t see my popular blog about Tips on hiring a good Feng Shui practitioner” from January of 2005, go read it now. Clutter is just junk lying about the house that you haven’t dealt with. Having too much clutter is a learned behavior and has nothing to do with feng shui. NOTHING! Excess clutter will not cause your luck to run out. I’ll just start calling this kind of thing faux shui® from now on. Want to know more about bad feng shui? Go to this website.

Reb
